Currently, Godaco Seafood is trying to apply ASC standards to fish farms to meet the customers’ request for sustainable products. Thanh Long fish farm is the first farm of the company to receive ASC standard. The company will continue to apply and get certificates for other fish farms to increase the competitiveness of the company globally and meet the customers’ request.
ASC is a voluntary certificate, which is open and transparent. Even though it is a new standard, it has been welcomed by many customers and farmers. In the future, ASC will be an useful competitive advantage of the company.
